Privacy Policy
1. Data collected
On the irongymlog.com website, we use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous navigation data (pages visited, session duration, device used). We do not collect personally identifiable data through the website.
The IRON app stores all workout data (exercises, sets, templates, statistics) exclusively in the device's local storage. There is no user account and no IRON backend: your workouts are never sent to our servers.
The app uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (services provided by Google LLC) to collect anonymous usage events (e.g. screen views, workout completion) and crash reports. This data is associated with an Installation ID automatically generated by the device, not linked to email, name or any other identifiable data, and is used only to improve the app.
2. Cookies
The website uses necessary technical cookies and Google Analytics analytics cookies (_ga and _gid cookies). Analytics cookies are only installed after explicit user consent through the cookie banner. No cookies are installed before consent.
3. Local storage
The IRON app saves all workout data exclusively in the device's local storage. Uninstalling the app will completely and immediately delete all this data.
4. Third-party services
Website: Google Analytics 4 (owned by Google LLC) for web traffic analysis.
App: Google Play (owned by Google LLC) for distribution, Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (owned by Google LLC) for anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting.
We do not share data with any other third parties. Google acts as data processor under GDPR.
5. User rights
In accordance with GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679), you have the right to:
- access your personal data
- request rectification of inaccurate data
- request deletion of your data
- object to the processing of your data
- request portability of your data
To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address below.
6. Data deletion
Local data: to delete all workout data stored on your device, simply uninstall the IRON app. No residual data remains on our servers, because we don't have any.
Firebase data: anonymous events collected via Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics are tied to an Installation ID generated by your device. To request deletion of this data, write to hello@irongymlog.com including your Installation ID (you can find it in the app under Settings → Privacy). We will delete the associated data within 30 days of the request.
Auto-deletion: Firebase Analytics events are automatically deleted from Google's servers after 14 months of Installation ID inactivity.
